Ko-Lab is a joint EP by childhood friends and hip-hop artists - Irfana and Taslina from Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. It’s a passion project created by them on a trip back to their hometown,hence the name ‘Ko-Lab’, short for Kodaikanal Laboratory.

Ko-Lab is a 4 song EP that explores gospel music, underground rap and trap beats. Ko-Lab also features Producers Kalla Sha and Doc Awes, and soul singer RANI.

Taslina︎︎︎ is a Producer, Rapper, and Graphics and Motion Designe currently in Atlanta. Her style is influenced by a range of genres ranging from hip-hop, electronic music such as techno, foot-work, etc drawing from both Global and Local arts. Currently experimenting with her sound, she aims to deliver fresh beats to the Indie hip-hop scene.

Irfana︎︎︎ is a rapper and songwriter with a passion for rock-solid hook and verses. Her style is influenced by the poets she studied in high school and University, as well as artists such as Joey Badass, J Cole and Earthgang. In Ko-Lab she explores gospel, political theory, and old-school rhythm and rhymes, and aims to keep people bumping and thinking with her lyrics.
